About our Customer

"Multimedia analytics platform using subjective AI. We solve consumer and enterprise photo curation, multimedia data extraction, and cloud storage optimization needs."

Responsibilities

• You will be the primary leader and representative of our software development teams
• Ability to be a contributing member of our development team, both in terms of technical aptitude and applicability of your skills to our needs
• You are an advocate for their needs, determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team while working in close collaboration with our Product Manager
• Determining technical team staffing needs, and assisting with hiring and training technical personnel when needed
• Collaborating on project requirements, and developing work schedules and assignments for the software development team
• Conducting security audits to identify areas of improvement
• Developing and maintaining a holistic technical view, coordinating workstreams
• Keeping team goals coordinated and aligned with business goals and vision
• Will be able to provide some hands-on coding contributions, somewhere in the realm of 75/25 leadership/technical work
• Being a source of technical improvements, and best practices
• Managing daily, weekly and monthly targets, reporting on performance, and coordinating with Product Management on roll-up reporting
• Keeping up-to-date with industry-relevant technical trends and developments
• Being transparent with the team and stakeholders about challenges, failures, and successes
• Conducting regular software demonstrations for stakeholders, as new features are released

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership role, directly leading technical teams, and interfacing with executive leadership
• Experience in the following areas would be a great differentiator: Modular Design Patterns, Web Components, Ionic Framework, Docker/Kubernetes, Python, Cloud Engineering, PostgreSQL
• An advocate of current CI/CD best practices
• You can thrive in a start-up environment and its inherent challenges, with agility

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience or advanced interest in Machine Learning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per month
